Juna
Juna was born on April 2, 2022 and joined Second Chance in October of 2023. She is a quiet girl who would love to have a house to call home.
phoenix
Phoenix is a friendly female. She was found outdoors and brought to the shelter in September 2023. Her estimated birthdate is December 2022. She likes to play and curl around your ankles while looking for some loving attention.
timmy
Timmy was brought to the sanctuary in May 2022 and his estimated birthdate is June 2021. He is a lovely cat who loves to be petted. He gets along well with the other cats in the sanctuary
archie
Archie joined the sanctuary in 2022. He loves to watch the birds and dash through tunnels while playing with his cat friends. He looks forward to pets and hugs from his caregivers.
stockings
Stockings is a sweet senior who loves his caregivers and eagerly asks for pets that he accepts with lots of purring. He would love to join a fur-ever home but a temporary foster home would be greatly appreciated during the Second Chance relocation.
tyga
Tyga was found outside in spring of 2026 and was brought to Second Chance. She is adjusting to people but can be spicy as she learns to trust.
Simba
Meet Simba is a playful young boy born in January 2023 and released to the Shelter in April 2024. Simba would love to bring his spunky personality to his forever home.
ritchie
Ritchie was brought to the sanctuary in October 2021 by people who had been feeding him outside since the time he was a small kitten. His estimated birth date is May 2020. Ritchie is very friendly, high energy and loves attention. Ritchie would be best as an only child.
Penny lou
Penny Lou was brought to the shelter after having been found outdoors in spring 2023. She was estimated to be born in late 2021 and was quite shy and nervous around new people at first. She has been getting much more comfortable around her regular caregivers but may need lots of love and patience to become familiar with a new forever home.
Shishi
Shishi joined Second Chance in 2023. He was born in October 2020 and was released to SCWS by his owner who was returning to his home country. He is a friendly boy who likes to interact with the other cats.
COOPER
Cooper is a quiet senior cat with a sweet, mild personality. He would love to join a fur-ever home but a temporary foster home would be greatly appreciated during the Second Chance relocation.

gracie
Gracie has been with Second Chance for many a year. She is a little bit of a fluff that will bring a calm, warm presence to her new forever or foster home. Adoption would be lovely but a temporary foster would also be greatly appreciated while the Second Chance relocation is underway.
Jack
Jack, a tuxedo-wearing domestic shorthair, is one of the fab-four boys born April 2023. Jack and his brother Benny are in foster care where they have learned to be sweet, friendly additions to a cat friendly home. They are bonded best-buddies so will need to be adopted together.
Benny
Benny, a black and white domestic shorthair, is one of the fab-four boys born April 2023. Benny and his brother Jack are in foster care where they have learned to be sweet, friendly additions to a cat friendly home. They are bonded so will need to be adopted together.
Neo
Neo joined the shelter in 2022, his vet estimated birth year is 2020. He was an indoor/outdoor cat surrendered by his owner who could not afford to have a vet examine his injured leg. Neo was neither neutered nor vaccinated. He was unable to put weight on his right front leg. His vet examination showed the leg had a fracture. After 6-8 weeks in a leg cast and being kept immobile - as immobile as a cat can be kept - he fully recovered. Neo now awaits that special person to discover him and
Mimi
Mimi was brought to the sanctuary in February 2023 by a lady who had been feeding her outside. Her estimated birthdate is November 2021. Mimi gave birth to seven kittens within 2 weeks of joining the sanctuary. Mimi is a friendly and active lady who loves to play. She is not too keen on other animals and would be best in a home without other animals.
Long Term Residents
Meet a few of the cats who have called Second Chance home for many years and now need foster homes while we relocate.
Flo
Flo was surrendered to the sanctuary in September, 2010 and her vet-estimated birth date is fall 2009. Flo and Tuna are best buddies and spend a lot of time sleeping together. Flo, like most of our long-time residents, gets along well with the other cats in the sanctuary.
STOCKINGS
Stockings is a sweet boy who has lived most of his life at Second Chance, many of those years with his brother Tips who crossed the rainbow bridge in 2024. He now loves to mingle with the other cats and mug for pets from visitors.
Aura
Aura was born in February 2021 and released to the sanctuary by his owner in July 2022. He likes to play with string toys but has a spicy side that makes him a long term resident.
Purrl
Purrl has a spicy side which has kept her at Second Chance for several years. She would love a chance to thrive in a foster home while we relocate.
Danny
Daenerys (better known as Danny) was born in July 2013 and has been with Second Chance for many years. She loves her feline friends and caregivers. She loves to wind around the ankles but may get a little spicy on occasion. She keeps you on your toes!
NED
Ned joined Second Chance as a young, timid boy approximately 10 years ago. As happens with so many lost and found cats, it took him a while to become comfortable with his caregivers, but he is now sweet and friendly.

In Memorial

BB lived many years at Second Chance before passing on in November 2025.
Tabitha
Sweet Tabitha was the matriarch of the sanctuary when she left us in fall 2025. She had been with Second Chance for most of her 17 years.
Guinness
Our lovely boy Guinness crossed the rainbow bridge on June 2, 2025. The Second Chance team was privileged to know Guinness and will miss him.
Guinness was found outside and brought to the sanctuary in June 2010.
